RoboCup is an international research and education initiative. It is an attempt to foster AI and intelligent robotics research by providing a standard problem where wide range of technologies can be integrated and examined, as well as being used for integrated project-oriented education. 4-legged robot soccer competition is a term of RoboCup competition.
The 2006 International 4-Legged Robot Exhibition Matches is the first stage of The 2006 International Series 4-Legged Robot Exhibition Matches: Suzhou-Sydney-Perth. It is also an anteceding event of The RoboCup China Open 2006, Suzhou, which will be held from Oct. 6 to 9.
